Cost of Shipping

We offer Free Freight/shipping on most orders of $199 or more, sent by UPS ground, shipped within the 48 contiguous states.
Orders under $199 shipped by courier (e.g., UPS) in the contiguous U.S. are charged $9.99. Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii orders are shipped at an additional charge.

All shipments in excess of 70 lbs. are shipped via freight line (truck). Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to unload all merchandise from the rear of the truck (excluding Generac Generators and Delta Unisaws, for which we provide free liftgate service). If liftgate service is needed to lower merchandise to the ground, there is an additional charge.
Please call for shipping charges on generators over 20 kw. Generators and Unisaws cannot be shipped outside of the contiguous United States. You will be notified in the cart and at checkout if one of the items on your order requires an additional freight charge. This can be due to delivery location or size/weight of the items you ordered. One of our customer service reps will be in touch with you to confirm additional charges. You will have the option to remove this item from your order if you are not satisfied with the freight charge.

NOTE: Our system is unable to automatically detect orders shipping outside of lower 48 states and a customer service representative will reach out regarding the additional freight surcharge for these.

International Orders

Orders to Canada and US territories can be placed on the website.

Orders going anywhere else outside the US must be placed via a third-party company called My US. You can click here or visit www.myus.com.

Please note that international tariffs, taxes and additional handling fees will apply. We have no way of determining these tariffs, taxes and additional handling fees at the time of shipment, and you will be responsible for paying those fees. We have no control over tariffs, taxes and additional handling fees as they are determined and collected by government agencies. Please be aware that all of our tools are designed for US Power. 120 Volts/60Hz and may or may not operate in your country. Additionally, returns and warranties outside of the US can be problematic as freight expenses will be the customers to bear.

Sales Tax

International Tool is a registered retailer in the following states and must collect sales tax on all items sold unless provided with a valid exemption International Tool charges sales tax on shipments made to the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Tax Exemption

How is Sales Tax Calculated on Orders with Coupons and Free Goods?

Manufacturers provide coupons and promotional free goods, and the IRS requires we collect tax on the value of those coupons and free goods.

If your order has a coupon discount, the tax charged on the order is calculated based on the value of the total order before the coupon. If your order has a free good, tax is calculated based on the value of the free good. To determine the value of the free good, click the product’s description in the cart, which is a hyperlink that will take you to its product detail page showing the value.

When Will My Order Ship?

Products listed as In-Stock are expected to ship within 24-48 hours of the order being placed. Items marked as Ships From Manufacturer are items that we do not have in stock at our warehouse. These items are expected to ship within 10 business days; however, these time frames may vary due to supply chain issues. You will be notified via email of any extended wait times.

Note: Ship dates for backordered or preordered items are only estimates and are subject to change without notice.

Our goal is to ship orders complete, however, orders containing items shipping from manufacturer and/or pre-order and backorder items may be excluded from complete shipments.

Tracking Says Delivered, but Order Has Not Been Received
If your tracking states that your order has been delivered, but you have not received it, we ask that your first check to be sure your package was not delivered to a neighbor by mistake. If you are unable to locate the package, please contact your local UPS, USPS, or FedEx office and allow time for them to locate. If the freight company is unable to provide a solution, please contact our customer service at 1-800-338-3384, so we can initiate a freight claim and issue a refund. International Tool is not responsible for packages stolen after delivery.

Item Arrived Damaged

If your order arrives damaged or missing items, please contact customer service within 2 business days at 1-800-338-3384 or via email at [email protected]. You will be asked to provide photo evidence of damage and a return label will be sent to your email on file. If the item is available, you will be shipped a replacement. If the item is no longer available, or has an extended wait time, you will receive a refund.

I Changed My Mind

If you are not satisfied with your purchase when you receive your item, you can ship it back to us within 30 days of delivery. Contact customer service at 1-800-338-3384 or via email at [email protected]. All returned merchandise must be received by us in new and undamaged condition, in its original factory packaging, including all literature, instructions and original accessories. Returns are not accepted on damaged or used items, special orders or on incomplete units. Exchanges can be made on some items. Please contact customer service if you are looking to exchange an item. Customers are responsible for return shipping on any standard return. Please contact customer service with return tracking information.

Return Policy on Generators & Transfer Switches

Returned merchandise must include a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA number). Please call 1-800-338-3384 to obtain an RMA number within 30 days of receiving your generator. This RMA number must accompany your return.

We cannot process generator returns where gasoline was put in the unit.

Refunds are issued with a 20% restocking charge deducted, and minus actual shipping cost originally included in the selling price of the generator or transfer switch.

We cannot accept any gas equipment returns for any reason after gas is placed in the machine.

Orders placed using PayPal will be charged immediately once the order has been placed.

Credit card orders will receive a pending/authorization charge at the time of purchase but will not receive a completed charge until the order has shipped.

How Do I Use the 6 Months to Pay Offer?

Our 6 months to pay offer is through PayPal. To utilize this, use Paypal as your payment method when you check out. This will take you to Paypal's website. Order Status

Clearance Items & Reconditioned Tools

Clearance and Reconditioned Items are kept in limited quantities and may sell out. If this occurs customer service will contact you and work with you to resolve the issue.

Milwaukee Reconditioned Tool Warranty
FACTORY RECONDITIONED PRODUCT: Any Milwaukee reconditioned product has been reconditioned by Milwaukee factory personnel. It has been inspected to determine the full extent of repair required in meeting all Milwaukee performance specifications – it has been fully mechanically & electrically tested to assure it meets Milwaukee and Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. & Canadian Standards Association agency standards for safety. Reconditioned product may show evidence of prior use and/or contain some external blemishes.
