Blast Gates

Blast gates are used in every dust collection system to control air flow from one machine to another and are necessary to maximize dust collection system efficiency. We stock ABS plastic and aluminum blast gates. Plastic blast gates are economically priced and feature a textured surface and easy sliding gate action. For those who prefer metal, our aluminum blast gates are top quality and feature a cast aluminum body with steel gate and locking knob.

"Y" Fitting

Y's are used to attach branch lines to service more than one machine. This design increases lateral air flow and efficiency over other types of fittings. 4" diameter.

• For use where design limitation will not allow use of a "y".
• Allows you to branch off main line
• Slightly undersized to fit inside hose

Elbow Fitting

• Elbows are necessary whenever ductwork changes direction, such as from the dust collector to an overhead main line, or when connecting individual machines to branch lines. 4" diameter.

• Used for connecting flexible hose to make longer length
• Slightly undersized to fit inside hose

Reducers

These fitting allow woodworkers to step down from a larger main line to smaller branch lines. This step down increases air velocity near the machine where it's needed most.
